About your session – FAQ

What should I expect on the day?

Portrait sessions: Individual portrait sessions (including fitness and boudoir) take approximately one to one and a half hours, however additional time should be taken into account for those wishing to have hair and make up included. Sessions will vary depending on  outfit changes and the location of the session.

Newborns: An average newborn session takes up to 3 hours, this allows for plenty of time for newborns to be fed, settled, changed and simply cuddled.Individual portraiture sessions take between one to two hours depending on the package chosen for the day.

When should I book a maternity/newborn shoot?

Maternity shoots: It is recommended that maternity photos are taken between 32 and 36 weeks of pregnancy, before you start to feel too heavy and uncomfortable. Maternity sessions are either done in studio or on location, hair and make up can be incorporated into the session for an additional charge.

Newborn shoots: Holly is heavily in demand and currently accepting limited bookings therefore it is essential that bookings are made as soon as possible. Bookings should be made during the pregnancy as it is highly preferred that shots are taken between 3 and 10 days of age. This is because newborns are more sleepy (and gorgeously squishy!) during this time.

Simone - Hi I wanted to enquire about a newborn shoot baby due via Caesarian on the 24th June, wanted to find out about price & also if we can get my 2 other children included in this as well?

Thanks Simone
